Pokédex Placeholders for Pokémon TCG cards — free PDF to print

Free placeholders to reserve binder slots, keep number order and complete your Pokédex card by card. When you get the Pokémon, remove the placeholder and insert the card.

Pokédex Placeholders are printable templates that reserve the space of a Pokémon you don't have yet in your Pokémon TCG card binder. You place them in the binder slots to keep number order and see your progress at a glance.

Choose a ready-made printable PDF when you want to set up the whole binder quickly. Each numbered placeholder keeps a missing Pokémon's slot visible until you replace it with a card.

Organize your Pokédex like a PRO

Complete your Pokédex with numbered placeholders that represent each Pokémon and leave room for each card.

  1. Print the PDFs in A4 with the recommended quality.
  2. Insert the Pokémon placeholders into the binder.
  3. Replace each placeholder with the card when you get it.
  4. Put the card in a sleeve and then into the binder (we don't recommend bare cards).

How to cut them easily (recommended)

If you're printing many placeholders, a paper cutter saves you time and leaves clean edges. Choose a guillotine for speed, or a roller for precision. If you cut by hand, mat + cutter also works.

Where to print your placeholders cheaply

If you have a decent printer, you can print at home without issues (especially if you go slowly). But if you plan to print the whole Pokédex, an online print shop is usually cheaper: you save on ink and paper and get better quality without tweaking settings.
