Reshiram joins Pokémon UNITE: moves and free license
Reshiram debuts as a ranged Attacker in Pokémon UNITE with Turboblaze, three Unite Move charges and a free license through September 1.
Reshiram is now playable in Pokémon UNITE as a ranged Attacker. It builds pressure in the mid and late game by chaining boosted attacks and managing several Unite Move charges.
A launch event offers its Unite license free until September 1, 2026. Players must finish the event requirements before the deadline.
Boosted basic attacks
Reshiram's basic attack becomes boosted after using a move or after two basic attacks. Alternating moves and normal attacks therefore maintains pressure better than using every ability at once, while safe positioning remains essential for a ranged Attacker.
Turboblaze and shields
Turboblaze damages both opponents and their shields, making it useful against shield-heavy teams. Results still depend on level, held items, range and current balance adjustments.
Reshiram can store up to three uses of its Unite Move. Activating it calls on an off-field Zekrom, allowing players to spend a charge immediately or save several for decisive fights.

How to obtain the license free
Complete the launch event before September 1 to receive the license. The reward is temporary; its acquisition method may change after the event.

Its role in battle
As an Attacker, Reshiram trades durability for high ranged damage. Its value comes from range, boosted basics, shield pressure and stored Unite charges. Exact stats and optimal builds may change in patches, so current in-game notes should be checked before ranked play.
