Pokémon Pokopia icon wave two on Nintendo Switch Online

The second wave of Pokémon Pokopia icons is now available on Nintendo Switch Online. It combines new and returning characters, backgrounds and frames for console user icons. The temporary selection is redeemed with Platinum Points in the app and features dressed-up Ditto, Snubbull and Peakychu.

What Pokémon Pokopia wave two includes

Icon elements are divided into characters, backgrounds and frames. Characters cost 10 Platinum Points each; themed backgrounds and frames cost 5 points.

The visible selection mixes the base game and expansion pass. Ditto outfits, Snubbull, Peakychu and other Pokémon Pokopia characters can be redeemed separately, so the whole set is not required.

Deadline and upcoming rotations

Wave two is available until August 18, 2026 at 7:59 p.m. CDT. Two more waves are scheduled. The deadline only affects redemption: Nintendo says collected elements remain even if the Nintendo Switch Online membership later expires.

How to redeem icons with Platinum Points

Open Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch and choose the receiving user.

1. Open Missions & Rewards. 2. Choose Pokémon Pokopia and review the elements. 3. Select a character, background or frame. 4. Choose Redeem Points.

Internet and an active paid membership are required. Platinum Points come from My Nintendo and service missions.

Elements can be mixed in the collection editor and their cost is shown before confirmation.
