Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 2: accessories and new features
Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 2 adds accessories, more Pokémon and furniture in late 2026, but it will not include a new town.
Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 2 will add accessories for Ditto and its neighbours, more Pokémon and new furniture. Nintendo still lists the release window as late 2026 and has confirmed an important limit: this part will not add another town.
Which accessories are coming in Part 2
The official footage shows sunglasses, ribbons and bow ties. They are not limited to Ditto: Pokémon living in the settlements will also be able to wear them, making it possible to coordinate outfits between the protagonist and its neighbours.
The screenshots show several combinations. Ditto wears dark glasses and a bow tie; Pikachu, Squirtle and Dedenne have sunglasses; and Pokémon such as Skitty, Meowscarada and Munna wear ribbons or bow ties. Sylveon can even match its own feelers with a similar ribbon. Nintendo promises more accessories, but has not published a complete catalogue.

How neighbour customisation changes
The most important change is not one specific item, but who can use it. The images confirm that several species can wear accessories and that coordinated residents can appear together in one scene.

Part 2 therefore expands settlement customisation beyond construction. Players will be able to shape the appearance of the Pokémon that live there as well as the environment itself. The sources do not yet explain whether accessories will come from recipes, shops, requests or another system, so their unlock methods remain unconfirmed.

More Pokémon and furniture, but no new town
Accessories are not the only addition. Nintendo confirms more Pokémon and new furniture, although neither the species list nor the furniture catalogue is available yet. Both additions should give players more residents to meet and more building options after Bubbly Basin.
Nintendo also states that Part 2 will not add a new town. It should not be presented as a second area equivalent to the underwater expansion. The known focus is customisation, new residents and decorative items for existing settlements.
Release window, platform and requirements
The official window remains late 2026. Reaching that period will not automatically mean the content is live: until Nintendo or The Pokémon Company announces a date or releases the update, Part 2 remains upcoming.
The Expansion Pass is paid content for Nintendo Switch 2 and requires the full game, sold separately. Its three parts cannot be bought individually. Nintendo also notes that some modes and features require an internet connection and a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.

How it differs from Bubbly Basin
Part 1, Bubbly Basin, is already available and focuses on underwater exploration and construction. The second release shifts attention to the appearance of Ditto and its neighbours while also adding residents and furniture. Both belong to the same pass, but they do not offer the same kind of content.
Nintendo has not yet detailed the full accessory, Pokémon or furniture lists, their unlock conditions or the exact release date. It is also too early to assume every species supports every item. For now, only the combinations shown and the general ability to dress Ditto and other residents are confirmed.
