Pokémon Champions M-C Special Roster: full list and dates

Pokémon Champions guide to the M-C Special Roster: event window, 32 eligible choices and practical Recruit Pokémon rules for both 2027 Global Challenges.

Pokémon Champions has opened a Special Roster to mark the 2027 Global Challenge I and 2027 Global Challenge II Online Competitions. It is available from September 18 to 28, 2026 and contains 32 options permitted under Regulation Set M-C.

Special Roster dates and times

The official period begins on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 02:00 UTC and ends on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 01:59 UTC. This ten-day window is tied to both 2027 Global Challenges.

The roster helps players find recruits that belong to the M-C ruleset before the period closes. It does not replace registration rules or guarantee that every possible team composition is valid; it simply provides a defined pool of eligible Pokémon.

How recruiting works during the event

Pokémon Champions distinguishes between trial and permanent recruits. A trial recruit lets you temporarily add one Pokémon once per day without spending Victory Points (VP). Keeping it requires a permanent recruit using VP or the relevant ticket.

A new trial lineup appears every 22 hours. Its composition depends on the active roster, and the official notice confirms that a single lineup never contains more than one Pokémon of the same species. That prevents duplicates within one selection, but it does not guarantee any particular option.

Players looking for a specific species can shorten the wait with VP or Quick Coupons. Each coupon removes one hour from the general recruiting timer. Some Special Rosters may require dedicated tickets, so finding the desired name and adding it permanently are separate steps.

What changes compared with a normal roster

The main difference is the pool: this limited lineup concentrates Pokémon that can participate under Regulation Set M-C and connects their availability to the 2027 Global Challenges I and II. The usual 22-hour timer, VP and Quick Coupons still work as normal.

Players who used the 2026 Global Challenge Special Roster will recognize the timer, but this edition changes both the reference ruleset and the available species and forms.

How to use the window without wasting resources

The free option refreshes every 22 hours, so checking regularly gives you several lineups before the deadline. Quick Coupons are most useful when little time remains or when you are pursuing one specific choice; spending them early cannot guarantee that species.

You can verify the current pool in the game under Recruit > Recruit Pokémon > Roster Info > Pokémon Featured in This Roster. Check that screen for the active list and any specific requirement before spending VP, coupons or tickets.
