Celebratory Fanfare 2026: how to get the new promo

The annual Celebratory Fanfare promo now has a version for the 2026 Pokémon TCG competitive season. The card will be distributed in both Japan and English, but the requirements differ: Japan retains its own Championship Points threshold, while Western territories link it to Ace Trainer status.

This is the sixth version of the card. As in previous editions, the illustration brings together Pokémon that were popular in the season's decks, making the reward both a limited promo and a visual record of the competitive metagame.

Celebratory Fanfare requirement in Japan

Players in Japan must earn at least 30 Championship Points during the season. The deadline is August 31, 2026, and those who reach the minimum will receive the card by mail.

The Japanese threshold should not be applied to other regions. Each circuit has its own eligibility system, and the announcement specifically distinguishes Japanese distribution from English distribution.

Requirement for the English promo

In North America, Europe and Oceania, Celebratory Fanfare will be sent to players who earn Ace Trainer status, which requires 200 Championship Points. Shipping will take place after the season ends.

The English promo began to be distributed through this system last year. The 2026 edition keeps the reward but updates the illustration to reflect the new season's competitive environment.

What eligible players should check

Earning the points is the main competitive requirement, but delivery by mail also depends on valid account details. Players should check the email address and mailing address linked to their competitive profile and watch for official messages about acceptance or deadlines.

The reward does not amount to an automatic invitation to the World Championships. Ace Trainer recognizes accumulated points and grants specific benefits, while qualification for Worlds has its own conditions.

A series that documents each season

All six Celebratory Fanfare versions share the same festive concept, but the Pokémon shown change. The 2026 card continues that sequence and offers a visual snapshot of which Pokémon featured prominently in the year's decks.

The announcement confirms the card and the point thresholds. It does not confirm a market price, general sale or alternative ways to obtain it, so it should be treated as a competitive reward rather than a regular retail product.
