Hawlucha debuts in Pokémon Sleep during Summer Festival 2026
Hawlucha comes to Pokémon Sleep during Summer Festival, August 10–17, with curry bonuses, boosted encounters and Candy Cram-o-matic.
Pokémon Sleep's Summer Festival 2026 begins on Monday, August 10 at 4:00 a.m. and introduces Hawlucha. It runs in every area until August 17 at 3:59 a.m., fixes dishes to curries and stews, and adds two recipes. Dish Strength is multiplied by 1.5; Extra Tasty dishes reach 3×, or 4.5× on Sunday.
Dates and confirmed bonuses
Slightly boosted species include Squirtle, Caterpie, Psyduck, Slowpoke, Farfetch’d, Doduo, Pinsir, Totodile, Wooper, Shuckle, Heracross, Delibird, Mudkip, Swablu, Piplup, Dwebble, Rufflet, Grubbin, Cramorant and Quaxly.
- August 10 at 4:00 a.m. to August 17 at 3:59 a.m.
- Every research area; curries and stews only.
- Pokémon of different sleep types may appear, selected species are more common and some Shiny Pokémon may appear.
- Candy Cram-o-matic and event missions are available temporarily.
Hawlucha's sleep type and areas
Hawlucha is Flying-type with the Slumbering sleep type. It can appear on Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, Lapis Lakeside, Greengrass Isle (Expert) and Cyan Beach (Expert).

Its rate is highest on Cyan Beach (Expert), but the debut is not exclusive to that area.
How to prepare
Update the app, choose an eligible area and remember that Pokémon Sleep's day changes at 4:00 a.m. Bonuses only apply to sleep data recorded during the event. Exact encounter rates, recipe ingredients and mission rewards should not be inferred when the notice does not specify them.
