Date and time for the Tinkatink Community Day
The event takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time).
In addition, several bonuses tied to the event activate over a wider window than the main event hours.
Which Pokémon you’ll find—and how to increase your chances
During Community Day, Tinkatink will spawn more frequently in the wild. With luck, you’ll be able to find a shiny or one with a special background.

When there are Lure Modules at PokéStops, they will also affect the appearance of the featured Pokémon:
Lure Module Bonus (2:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
From 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM (local time), it will be very likely that you’ll see Tinkatink at PokéStops with normal Lure Modules. Those attracted by these lures will still have a high chance to be shiny and to show a special background.
- Lure Modules last 1 hour and can attract the featured Pokémon.
Featured evolution: get a Tinkaton with Colossal Hammer
During the event, you can evolve Tinkatink into Tinkatuff (its evolution) during the event or up to four hours after the event ends to get a Tinkaton that knows the charged attack Colossal Hammer.
Colossal Hammer will have the following damage during the event:
- Trainer Battles: 130 damage
- Gyms and raids: 300 damage
Community Day Special Research (US$1.99)
A special exclusive Community Day research for Tinkatink will be available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent price in your local currency). When you complete it, you’ll receive rewards, including:

You can now buy and gift Special Research entries to friends who have Great Friendship or higher. To gift, go to the Special Research entry in the shop and use the Gift button instead of Buy.

Incense and Lure Modules
Cheaper special trades
You’ll be able to make an additional special trade, up to 2 per day. In addition, trades require 50% less Stardust.
- Double Candies for catching Pokémon
- Triple Stardust for catching Pokémon
- Double catch bonus for Trainers of level 31 and up to receive Candy ++ for catching Pokémon
- Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) lasts 3 hours if activated during the event.
- Lure Modules last 1 hour.
Community Day-themed Field Research
There will also be themed Field Research. By catching Tinkatink, you can earn rewards such as Stardust, Ultra Balls, additional encounters with the Pokémon, and more.
With luck, you may even find a task that ends in Tinkatink encounters with a special background.
